Work Center Manager
Overview Market Drivers Architecture Features Benefits

FEATURES:

  • Work Item Grouping

WCM groups related work items for presentation purposes to facilitate the coordination of efforts between resources, eliminating duplication of efforts and counter-efforts by multiple resources.

  • Data Augmentation

Upon registration of a work item, WCM automatically interfaces with connected systems, retrieving pertinent data about the work item (research).

  • Inter Departmental Referrals

Referrals are automatically made to other departments when a work item requiring input from multiple departments is registered in WCM. When the work item is presented to the user, information returned from the other departments is already factored into the tasks which need to be performed.

  • Process Definition Environment (PDE), powered by Sun

A graphical environment used to define, create and modify work center processes. Process flows are drawn out with the ability to drill-down on any of the process components to add, change and delete business rules and parameters.

  • Dynamic Work Item Assignment (DWIA)

The technique by which work is distributed and assigned to users in WCM. DWIA performs a real-time analysis of the workload (Real-time Analytics) when a user requests work, by applying configurable work assignment rules (Work Strategies) and a prioritization scheme that evaluates time, physical and logical attributes of a work item (Multi-Dimensional Prioritization).

  • Adaptive Workload Leveling

Adapts work item assignments by evaluating pending work volume, available user skill sets and forecasted completion capabilities.

  • Task Adaptive Presentation

User interface components (tabs, fields, functionality, drop-down lists, etc.) are visible based on the tasks required to resolve the selected work item.

  • External Application Integration

The user interface can be configured to provide access to an external application within the user interface. Information from other areas of the user interface can be configured to auto populate upon presentation of the external application.

  • Configurable Work Item Rendering

The ability to transform a work item into a format that allows the user to be more efficient in identifying the work that needs to be performed to resolve the work item.
